By Mike Ehrmann, Associated PressVice President of Public Affairs for Instagram, Joe Boland, announced today that rapper Notorious Bad Boy has received a $100,000 bonus from Instagram for participating in its ad-free program.
“As part of our efforts to continue to grow our audience and grow the value of our ads, we have decided to extend our $100k bonus to artists and influencers who take action to promote their brands in a manner that is free of any charge to consumers,” Boland wrote in a blog post.
“We also recognize that it’s important to support artists who are making a difference in the lives of others, and that we are grateful for the support and support of these artists.”
Boland wrote that the offer “is part of an effort to support brands in the ad-less space.
The $100 million bonus is just the start.”
