Colgate-Palmolive’s total mouthwashes are one of the most widely prescribed mouthwash brands.
But the brand says it’s not only the flu vaccine that will help you protect against the pandemic.
Dr. Tichenor is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in treating facial wounds, but he also uses mouthwash to treat burns.
He says that when he was treating his own daughter, she developed a fever and cough during her first two days of recovery.
The next morning, she was still coughing and her cough was worse.
Colgate’s team put her on colgate-palmolive mouthwash and prescribed it for her.
She recovered and is now doing well.
It has also been proven to prevent bacterial infections in other people who are infected with the flu.
Dr Tichenot said that since he began treating his daughter, he’s seen a 50 percent reduction in her coughing and cough.
Colgates total mouthwasher also contains the flu shot and a flu booster, but it’s only recommended for those who are already vaccinated.
That’s why Dr Tischot says it is important to check the labels to make sure it’s safe to use.
“It should not be used as a flu vaccine for people who have not been vaccinated,” he said.
Colgal says they also encourage people to get the flu jab as soon as they can.
“We want to make it easy for people to receive the flu vaccination when they are able to,” Colgal said.
