Mouthwash pump, dispenser and dispenser manufacturer Closys, makers of Mouthwash, has released a new product that it says is the world’s first mouthwash dispenser that doesn’t need a pump or dispenser.
It comes in five flavours – pink, green, orange, blue and black.
Closys claims it has created a “personalised” mouthwash that’s not a single product but rather the combination of several.
The company says it’s been able to achieve this because of its “zero waste” policy and the “low friction” design of its dispensers.
“This is a truly personalised and personalized solution for those who want to enjoy a unique taste without a pump and dispensers,” said Mr Wigmore.
Closer to home, the Australian Beverage Association (ABAA) is launching its first ever Mouthwash Challenge, which is set to run from April 1 until March 31, 2017.
The challenge aims to raise $250,000 by giving away a brand new dispenser to people aged over 16.ABAA spokesperson Heather Stapleton said the challenge was inspired by a recent survey of consumers by Beverage Digest, a website dedicated to the products and services of brands such as Colgate-Palmolive and Procter & Gamble.
“The survey found that more than half of the respondents had heard of a brand-new mouthwash brand, and many had heard good things about Closers mouthwash,” Ms Staplet said.
“In a time of social media, there’s a need for a new mouthwash and this is a way to give back to the brand that has been so successful in our community.”
Ms Staplette said the ABAA was looking to raise more money to launch the competition.
“We want to give people a new, personalised choice and that’s why we’re launching the competition,” she said.ABC/AAP
