Ingredients for: Mouthwash 1 bottle of liquid mouthwash 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda 1/8 teaspoon of sodium chloride 1/2 teaspoon of potassium sorbate 1 teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide 1/3 teaspoon of liquid dishwashing liquid (such as detergent or water) 3 cups of liquid household detergent 3 cups or more of dishwashing or laundry detergent 1/16 teaspoon of formaldehyde 1/32 teaspoon of bleach 1 teaspoon water 3 tablespoons of corn starch 1 tablespoon of honey 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1/5 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/6 teaspoon baking soda (optional) Instructions To prepare your liquid mouthsoap, rinse your mouth with cold water and soak the mouthwash in the cold water for 10 to 15 minutes.
To prepare the baking soda, dissolve 1 teaspoon and 2 tablespoons of baking powder in a small saucepan.
Place the saucepan on medium heat and bring to a boil.
When the heat is low, stir the mixture until the mixture is dissolved.
Reduce the heat to medium and cook the mixture for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring frequently.
When it’s finished cooking, remove the pan from the heat and let it cool slightly.
Place a plastic bowl or plastic bag over a large pot of boiling water and allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
This is the base for the mouthsoam.
Place 2 tablespoons baking soda in a bowl.
Add 1 teaspoon salt and a few drops of baking solution to the bowl.
Stir until the salt is dissolved and the baking solution becomes slightly clear.
To prep your detergent, add 1 tablespoon baking soda to a small bowl.
When mixed, add about 1/24 teaspoon of vinegar and 1 tablespoon water to the mixture.
Set the mixture aside.
Add a little water to a medium saucepan and bring the mixture up to a simmer.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, until the vinegar is dissolved completely.
Stir in the remaining baking soda.
Let the mixture sit for about 15 minutes and then add a little more baking soda if needed.
Place in the refrigerator to set.
Once the detergent is finished cooking and set, let the mixture cool to about room temperature before using.
